The print is also dedicated to my friend Craig who really turned me on to the band's sound years ago

These stones are often formed in intense volcanic conditions

I knew then that the sixties era of the Stones would be my focus

I felt a responsibility to push myself on this art and not repeat elements from a past Neil print I've made

The last Dave I made loosely referenced "Dreaming Tree" and I wanted this one to pay homage to the track "Where Are You Going." The background shapes are references to a mariner's compass and other nautical guideposts. The whole thing has sort of a shimmery radiant stained glass mosaic tile type of feel to it. .
